What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
GoRandomly is an AI-powered travel inspiration platform. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site, and how. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Adventure inputs. The answers you give the Explore wizard (destination, vibe, timing, budget, and similar) are sent to our AI provider to generate an idea.
- Account email. If you sign in, we store the email address you use for the magic link so we can authenticate you.
- Saved adventures. Ideas you choose to save are stored with your account so you can revisit them.
- Optional location. If you tap "Use my location," your approximate location is used in that moment to suggest nearby destinations. We do not store it for tracking.
- Usage and security data. We use reCAPTCHA and basic analytics to keep the service running and to prevent abuse of our AI quota.
How we use it
- To generate and display travel ideas.
- To let you sign in, save, and manage your adventures.
- To keep the service secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
Sharing and publicity
Saved adventures are public by default so they can be shared with a link. You can mark any adventure private at any time from My adventures. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to operate, including Google (Maps, reCAPTCHA, Firebase) and our AI model provider. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Your choices
- Use GoRandomly without an account — no email required.
- Decline location sharing; the wizard works without it.
- Make saved adventures private, or contact us to delete your data.
